Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire logistics process, including storage and inventory management.
- Co-ordinate and delegate tasks related to logistics schedules, inventory control, shipment of materiel (including dangerous and ITAR licensed goods) delivery receipts, material handling, storage, packaging and disposal of material.
- Utilize reporting tools to provide insights that drive strategic decision-making, including content for deliverables and reports relating to inventory condition, dispatch and delivery timeframes, discrepancies etc.
- Generate work orders, monitor their progress until closure, and ensure the correct material allocation.
- Management of accurate tracking and reporting, tool control, calibration and compliance.
- Analyze material location and initiate redistribution action, if required.
- Perform stock audits and adopt corrective actions as appropriate.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, handling agents for efficient import / export of materials.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to logistics operations.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to protect employees and equipment.
- Ensure effective communication within the team and across departments.
- Enhance the team members' skills in logistics operations and safety protocols.
- Perform other duties as directed.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in logistics.
- Appropriate qualification or certification in logistics.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks effectively. And adhere to critical deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken), Arabic is an asset.
- Enhanced computer literacy including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and warehouse management software (preferably proALPHA).
