Job Description
Our client, a leading international oil & gas trading firm with a growing LNG desk, is seeking an LNG Operator to join their Dubai office. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of LNG cargo operations, ensuring seamless delivery in line with contractual and commercial terms. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-paced trading environment and work closely with traders, counterparties, ship owners, and terminal operators.
Key Responsibilities
Manage LNG cargo operations from deal confirmation through to completion, including pre/post fixture and voyage execution.
Coordinate with traders, counterparties, shipowners, terminals, and inspection companies to ensure efficient and timely execution of LNG contracts.
Monitor and manage shipping schedules, vessel nominations, port documentation, and laytime/demurrage.
Handle contract administration, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and company policies.
Proactively identify and resolve operational issues, minimising risk and financial exposure.
Support credit, finance, and risk teams with documentation and operational data for invoicing, payments, and exposure management.
Maintain strong relationships with counterparties, LNG terminals, and shipping providers.
Contribute to process improvements and digitalisation initiatives across the operations team.
