? Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Literacy, or a related field
Proven experience as a Literacy Specialist or in EAL teaching
Strong knowledge of literacy strategies, intervention programs, and EAL frameworks
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Ability to assess, plan, and implement targeted interventions for diverse learners
Flexible, adaptable, and committed to student success
? Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement literacy programs to improve reading and writing outcomes for students
Support EAL learners with tailored interventions to enhance language acquisition
Assess student progress, maintain records, and provide detailed reports for teachers and leadership
Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate literacy strategies across subjects
Provide one-on-one and small group support for students requiring additional literacy or language assistance
Lead professional development sessions for staff on best practices in literacy and EAL teaching
Promote a love of reading and writing through engaging activities, resources, and initiatives

Minimum Application Requirements
Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered
Prefer candidates with international experience
Open University qualification(s) are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Additional:
**Your bachelor's degree MUST be in an English subject
**Having a Master's is beneficial to your application
**Experience of teaching in the Middle East is beneficial to your application
**If you have experience of working in an Islamic environment/students is beneficial for you
**Offering a secondary subject, this would help your application
**Singles teachers or teaching couples with NO CHILDREN are preferred
Remuneration Package
Salary Range:
A salary from 9000 up to 13000 AED (UAE Dirham) per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
