As a Listing Agent, you will be responsible for representing property sellers in real estate transactions, guiding them through the listing process, marketing their homes, negotiating offers, and ensuring a smooth closing. The ideal candidate has a strong sales background, exceptional communication skills, and a thorough understanding of the local market.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospect and generate new seller leads through networking, referrals, marketing campaigns, and community involvement
Conduct listing presentations and effectively communicate the value of working with you and the brokerage
Stage and photograph properties to ensure maximum market appeal
List properties on MLS and other real estate platforms
Create and execute marketing plans including open houses, social media promotions, flyers, and virtual tours
Negotiate offers on behalf of the seller and guide them through counteroffers and inspection results
Coordinate with escrow, mortgage, and other parties to ensure timely closings
Maintain accurate records of listings, client interactions, and transaction documents
Stay current with market trends, local regulations, and industry best practices
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Listing Agent
Strong knowledge of local real estate market
Excellent interpersonal, sales, and negotiation skills
Self-motivated and results-driven
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to listings and appointments
