ECCO Gulf Majorel Qatar is seeking a skilled and experienced Linux Operator to join dynamic IT team in Qatar. As a Linux Operator, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our Linux-based systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Your expertise will contribute to the seamless operation of our IT infrastructure, supporting various business functions.


Administer and maintain Linux operating systems to ensure optimal availability and performance. Provide support for Linux environments as well as Oracle Cloud infrastructure. Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues promptly. Implement and enforce security policies and system controls in collaboration with the information security consultant. Oversee the Main Data Center operations, ensuring compliance with system protection principles and controls. Manage and supervise backup operations, ensuring successful and reliable data backups. Administer servers and storage units, maintaining the integrity and health of the infrastructure. Participate in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers and centralized storage systems. Develop operational plans, prepare periodic reports, and provide recommendations to improve system performance and security.

Required Profile

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in Linux systems. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Min of

years Proven experience as a Linux Operator or similar role. In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line tools. Familiarity with system monitoring tools and automation frameworks. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
