Job Description

The Field Engineer will perform Limited Interim Missile Warning System (LIMWS) field engineering and technical support primarily in Camp Buehring as required by the Program Office.The LIMWS Field Engineer will address and resolve technical, training, supply issues, and support aircraft installation and provide technical assistance regarding installation, operation, calibration, repair, troubleshooting and maintenance of LIMWS and equipment located at customer's sites. FSR will require technical certification for the replacement, installation, cleaning, and maintenance of fiber optic cables, and be able to deploy/travel to a variety of locations for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs.

The FSR will support Integration and Test Activities and provide informal LIMWS OJT to the US Army Avionics technicians at deployed locations. The FSR shall store, exchange, package, and return assets to the contractor repair depot. The FSR will maintain a logistics supply point and receive LIMWS assets to and from the contractor, and other CONUS sites. The FSR will provide serviceable replacement assets on demand at the FSR deployed locations and receive malfunctioning assets and maintain a spares and repair parts replenishment pool to meet the performance metrics.

The Field Engineer must be willing and qualified (US Army CRC Contractor requirements) to travel in support of customer/program requirements. Successful candidate must possess strong Organizational and or Intermediate IR Electronic Warfare (EW), or Fiber Optics troubleshooting, maintenance and fault isolation abilities. Perform engineering tasks associated with EW mission support requirements, systems installation, integration, debugging, functional analysis of EW system interface and on-board systems communications utilizing VME/1553/BIT technology and standard test equipment.

Knowledge of aircraft EW Systems sweep utilizing Test Equipment is also required. FSR must be able to read/understand aircraft wiring diagrams, schematics and technical publications to troubleshoot and support the platform and system. Field Engineer Position requires "extensive world-wide travel" in support of customer Rotary Wing Electronic Warfare (EW) platform(s). Other duties include: program/systems Logistics (training, technical document review, supply management, parts inventory, shipping and tracking). Must be customer focused and work well as either a team member or in autonomous field environment. Additional Premiums may apply for Field supported locations.

**Pay Information**

Full-Time Salary Range: $66700 - $113400
