Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Perform lighting calculations, photometric analysis, and simulations using professional software (DIALux, Relux, AGi32). Design lighting layouts, fixture selection, and control strategies for industrial facilities. Ensure designs comply with international and local standards (IEC, IES, CIE, EN, OSHA, NFPA as applicable). Prepare technical documentation: Lighting design reports and calculation sheets Technical drawings (AutoCAD / Revit) Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and material specifications Review client/project requirements and develop optimal lighting solutions. Integrate lighting design with electrical systems, automation, and control systems. Support the tendering process with technical clarifications, proposals, and compliance matrices. Conduct site audits, evaluate existing lighting installations, and provide retrofit/upgrade recommendations. Assist in the installation, supervision, testing, and commissioning of lighting systems. Research new technologies in LED lighting, energy efficiency, and smart/IoT lighting systems. Other duties at the request of the Electro Trading management.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in architecture, Applied Arts, or a related field from a reputable university. 1 - 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3DMax, Lumion, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, and Photoshop is a must. Excellent creative problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
