We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Lighting Control Technician (SCADA)

to install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain lighting control systems integrated with SCADA platforms. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless operations of lighting automation across commercial or infrastructure projects and support the engineering team in maintaining optimal performance of all related systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, commission, and maintain lighting control systems integrated with SCADA. Monitor and control lighting systems through SCADA platforms to ensure functionality and efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve faults or irregularities in control panels, sensors, and SCADA-connected lighting systems. Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and SCADA schematics for installation and diagnostics. Coordinate with electrical engineers and automation teams to implement lighting automation strategies. Perform preventive maintenance and ensure system upgrades are applied regularly. Maintain accurate documentation including reports, logs, and maintenance records. Adhere to safety standards, electrical codes, and company procedures.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or related field. minimum 5 years of experience in lighting control systems, preferably with SCADA integration. Strong knowledge of SCADA platforms (e.g., Schneider, Siemens, or other industry-standard systems). Familiarity with lighting control protocols (e.g., DALI, KNX, DMX, or similar). Experience in control panel wiring, sensor installation, and system commissioning. Ability to read and interpret electrical and SCADA diagrams. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Must be locally available in Qatar with valid QID and transferable visa.
