Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and responsible Light Vehicle Driver to join our team. As a Light Vehicle Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating light vehicles and transporting passengers, goods, or materials to their designated destinations. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the efficient and timely transportation of individuals or goods while adhering to traffic rules and maintaining the vehicle in excellent condition. As a Light Vehicle Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating light vehicles and transporting passengers, goods, or materials to their designated destinations. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the efficient and timely transportation of individuals or goods while adhering to traffic rules and maintaining the vehicle in excellent condition. Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate cars to transport passengers, goods, or materials to designated locations.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure on-time arrivals and departures.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and proper functioning, reporting any issues to the appropriate authority.
- Load and unload goods or materials, ensuring their secure placement within the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or accidents that occur during transportation.
- Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times, both internally and externally.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to confidentiality, safety, and security.
- Stay updated on traffic conditions, road closures, and alternate routes to avoid delays and ensure efficient transportation.
- Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a light vehicle driver or a similar role.
- Good knowledge of local traffic laws, regulations, and routes.
- Excellent driving skills and a responsible attitude towards safety.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and schedules.
- Physical fitness to load and unload goods, if required.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Umm al-Quwain City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Valid UAE driving license (Preferred)
