Clever Metal Industries LLC is a trusted provider of high-quality steel and metal products across the UAE. We are currently looking for a

responsible and experienced Light Vehicle Driver

to join our logistics and delivery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and punctually to various customer and site locations.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver Products Safely:

Drive company light vehicles (such as vans or pickups) to deliver steel materials, documents, and small tools or items to clients, contractors, and project sites across the UAE.

Loading & Unloading:

Assist with loading and unloading goods while ensuring proper handling to avoid damage. Follow safe lifting and securing practices.

Route Navigation:

Plan and follow optimal delivery routes using GPS or as instructed by the dispatch team, taking traffic and road conditions into account.

Vehicle Care:

Perform basic maintenance checks (oil, tires, fuel, lights, etc.) before trips. Keep the vehicle clean and report any mechanical issues immediately.

Documentation:

Handle delivery notes, invoices, receipts, and customer signatures accurately. Ensure correct documentation is submitted at the end of each trip.

Traffic & Safety Compliance:

Abide by all UAE traffic laws, company rules, and road safety regulations. Maintain a clean driving record.

Customer Interaction:

Represent the company professionally during deliveries. Communicate clearly and respectfully with clients and colleagues.

Coordination:

Keep in contact with the Logistics/Dispatch Officer for updates, delays, or route changes.

Job Requirements

UAE Driving License:

Valid light vehicle license (Manual or Automatic).

Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years of driving experience within the UAE, preferably in delivery or logistics roles.

Knowledge:

Good understanding of UAE roads and locations. Familiarity with industrial areas and steel/construction sites is a plus.

Skills:

Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious with good communication and basic vehicle care knowledge.

Physical Fitness:

Able to lift, carry, and move materials as needed.

Working Hours & Schedule

Daily Trips:

Multiple deliveries within a day depending on destination.

Return to Base:

Most deliveries are local with return to the company base by evening.

Occasional Longer Trips:

Some deliveries may require early starts or extended hours based on client location.

Compensation & Benefits

Monthly Salary:

AED 1,600 - 22,00 (based on experience and performance).

Trip Allowances:

Extra allowances for longer-distance trips or urgent deliveries.

Pay: Up to AED2,200.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
