Light Vehicle Driver
Job Description
Safely operate light vehicles (cars, vans, small trucks) for daily routes and assignments.
Transport personnel, materials, or products efficiently and securely.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (fluids, tires, brakes, lights).
Plan and follow optimal routes using GPS and local knowledge to minimize travel time.
Assist with the safe loading and unloading of items.
Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and trip details.
Keep the assigned vehicle clean, fueled, and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Provide excellent customer service to passengers or clients.
Handle unexpected situations, such as traffic or breakdowns, professionally.
