Light Vehicle Driver
Job Description
Operate and drive vehicles, such as trucks or vans, to transport goods and materials to specified destinations.
Adhere to the assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
Safely load and unload goods and materials, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging.
Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure a safe driving environment.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any maintenance or safety issues, reporting them promptly.
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring it is always in good working condition.
Interact professionally with customers and clients during deliveries, providing assistance and answering any inquiries they may have.
Always represent the company in a positive and customer-focused manner.
Notify the logistics team of any delays, accidents, or issues that may affect delivery schedules.
Complete accurate delivery paperwork including delivery confirmations, invoices, and other required documentation.
Follow emergency procedures in case of accidents or breakdowns, including notifying appropriate authorities and reporting incidents to the supervisor.
Assist in collecting the cash /cheques and deposit as per the finance team instructions
