Driver + Pest Control Technician - Position Summary

The Driver & Pest Control Technician is responsible for safely driving company vehicles to client locations and performing pest control services according to company standards. The role includes handling equipment, applying chemicals safely, inspecting sites, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key ResponsibilitiesDriving Duties

Safely operate company vehicle to reach customer locations on time. Follow assigned routes and schedules as provided by the supervisor. Ensure vehicle cleanliness, maintenance, and proper fuel usage. Comply with all traffic laws and company driving policies.

Pest Control Technician Duties

Inspect residential and commercial properties to identify pest problems. Apply pesticides, traps, and other pest control treatments safely and effectively. Handle pest control equipment (sprayers, foggers, traps) properly. Provide preventive solutions and recommendations to customers. Maintain accurate records of treatments, chemicals used, and service reports. Ensure all work is done in compliance with safety standards and government regulations.

Customer Service

Communicate politely and professionally with clients. Explain treatment procedures and safety precautions. Address customer questions and concerns confidently. Ensure customer satisfaction and report any issues to supervisors.

Team & Reporting

Coordinate with the operations team for schedule updates. Report daily activities, service completion, and vehicle status. Assist in loading/unloading equipment and preparing materials.

Qualifications & Skills

Valid driving license (light/heavy as required by company). Experience in pest control or willingness to undergo training. Basic knowledge of pest types and control methods (preferred). Ability to handle chemicals safely and follow safety procedures. Good communication and customer service skills. Physically fit and able to work in varied environments (indoors/outdoors).
