Job Purpose:

The Driver cum Chainman will be responsible for safely transporting survey staff and equipment to and from various project sites while assisting the survey team during field operations. This dual-role position requires timely mobility support and contributes to on-site surveying activities to facilitate efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving Duties:

Safely operate company vehicles for pick-up and drop-off of survey staff to designated sites. Ensure the vehicle is in clean, roadworthy condition at all times and conduct routine maintenance checks. Maintain accurate vehicle log records including mileage, fuel consumption, and service schedules. Adhere to all UAE traffic laws and company transport policies. Assist with the loading and unloading of survey instruments and materials.

Chainman / Survey Assistance Duties:

Support surveyors in field activities such as measuring distances, holding survey rods, and placing markers. Set up and dismantle survey equipment under supervision. Carry and handle tools, tripods, and other surveying instruments carefully to avoid damage. Maintain proper care and organization of field tools and equipment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Valid UAE Driving License (Light Vehicle). Minimum of 2 years' driving experience, preferably in a construction or survey-related company. Basic understanding of survey fieldwork will be an added advantage. Physically fit and willing to work outdoors in varying site conditions. Punctual, responsible, and cooperative with strong team-oriented behavior.

Working Conditions:

This is a Field-based position requiring travel between multiple project sites within UAE. Working hours may vary depending on site and project schedules.
