Overview

We are seeking a skilled Light Vehicle Driver Cum Carpenter / Furniture Painter to join our team. This multifaceted role requires a combination of driving skills and carpentry expertise, focusing on delivering high-quality craftsmanship in furniture painting and various carpentry tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and restoration, along with the ability to operate light vehicles safely.

Duties

Safely operate light vehicles for transporting materials and tools to job sites. Execute carpentry tasks including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, and fixture installation. Perform furniture painting with attention to detail, ensuring high-quality finishes. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to accurately execute projects. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks. Engage in construction activities such as concrete forming, plastering, siding, roofing, and flooring installation. Conduct water damage restoration and mold remediation as needed. Collaborate with team members on construction site activities while adhering to safety protocols. Assist in heavy lifting and moving materials as required on-site.

Qualifications

Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, and construction-related tasks. Familiarity with construction estimating and project planning. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and machinery relevant to carpentry work. Experience in the restoration industry is highly desirable. Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, masonry, tile laying, and drywall installation is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration on job sites. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
