Job Title:

Light Vehicle Driver - Construction

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dependable and safety-conscious Light Vehicle Driver to support our construction operations. The driver will be responsible for transporting staff, materials, and documents between construction sites, warehouses, and offices while maintaining vehicle cleanliness and adhering to safety and traffic regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely drive light vehicles (e.g., pick-up trucks, vans) to and from construction sites, supplier locations, and company offices. Transport construction personnel, small tools, and light materials as required. Ensure that vehicles are always fueled, well-maintained, and clean. Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle, checking oil, water, brakes, lights, and tires. Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle servicing. Assist in loading and unloading materials or tools when necessary. Follow assigned schedules and routes to ensure timely deliveries and pickups. Comply with all construction site safety procedures and traffic regulations. Report any accidents, delays, or vehicle malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.

Requirements:

Valid light vehicle driving license appropriate to local regulations. Minimum of 2-3 years of driving experience, preferably in a construction environment. Knowledge of construction sites and safe driving practices on/off-road. Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, or overtime.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to understand and follow site safety protocols.
