Job Description
Responsibilities
Transportation
: Safely operate vehicles to transport goods or passengers to designated locations.Route Planning
: Map out and follow the most efficient routes, considering traffic and weather conditions.Vehicle Maintenance
: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; arrange for regular servicing and report any issues.Customer Service
: Assist with loading/unloading, handle customer inquiries, and ensure a positive experience.Documentation
: Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.Compliance
: Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.Requirements
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Proven experience in a driving role. Knowledge of local roads and navigation tools (e.g., GPS). Ability to lift heavy items when necessary. Strong time management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Flexibility to work weekends or evenings if required.
