LIGHT VEHICLE DRIVER
Job Summary
A Light Vehicle Driver is responsible for safely operating 1-ton to 3-ton pickup vehicles for transporting goods, materials, or equipment. The driver must hold a valid light vehicle license with at least 2 years of driving experience and should ensure timely deliveries while maintaining vehicle safety and compliance with traffic regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Operate 1-ton, 2-ton, and 3-ton pickup vehicles safely and efficiently. Transport goods, materials, or company equipment to assigned destinations. Follow all traffic rules, company policies, and safety procedures. Conduct daily vehicle inspections (oil level, tires, brakes, lights, etc.). Report any mechanical issues or damages to the supervisor. Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and ready for operation. Assist with loading and unloading when required. Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip sheets, and fuel records. Ensure timely delivery and collection of items as per schedule.
Skills & Qualifications
Valid light vehicle driving license. Minimum 2 years of driving experience. Experience driving 1-ton to 3-ton pickup vehicles (preferred). Good knowledge of local road routes and traffic regulations. Ability to perform basic vehicle checks and maintenance. Physically fit and able to handle lifting when necessary.
