Roles & Responsibilities :

Interpret and analyze complex engineering drawings, CAD files, and fabrication blueprints to determine precise material requirements and fabrication method. Execute high-quality welding techniques (MIG, TIG, spot welding) on light metal components, ensuring structural integrity. Conduct surface preparation processes such as grinding, deburring, sanding, and polishing to meet finish specifications and ensure defect-free surfaces. Assemble metal components using fasteners, rivets, welds, and adhesives, ensuring alignment and fit within defined dimensional tolerances. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to verify dimensional accuracy throughout fabrication stages Maintain accurate fabrication records and report deviations or defects promptly to engineering or quality control teams. Calibrate and maintain fabrication machinery and tooling to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental regulations, including proper handling of materials and use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Collaborate closely with supervisors, design engineers and quality assurance to implement revisions, optimize fabrication workflows, and meet project deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills:

3-4 Years of experience in light metal fabrication, preferably in furniture manufacturing. Proficiency in operating fabrication tools such as welding machines, and grinders. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Knowledge of metal properties, welding techniques, and finishing processes. Attention to detail, precision, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
