Light Duty Driver

Job Title: Light Duty Driver
Department: Logistics / Administration / Operations
Reporting To: Operations Manager / Office Administrator
Position Summary:
We require a professional and punctual Light Duty Driver to provide reliable transportation services for personnel, light goods, and documents. This role is crucial for supporting our daily operations and ensuring smooth logistics for our staff and clients. The ideal candidate will be courteous, well-presented, and familiar with the local area.
Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate light vehicles (e.g., cars, vans, pickup trucks) for the transport of personnel, mail, documents, and light goods.
• Ensure the vehicle is always clean, fueled, and ready for use.
• Perform routine checks on the vehicle's condition (tires, brakes, oil, etc.).
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for pick-ups, drop-offs, and errands.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of light packages and materials.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, destinations, and times.
• Adhere to all scheduling and timekeeping requirements.
• Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with clients and staff.
• Follow all UAE traffic laws and company policies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Mandatory: Valid UAE Light Vehicle Driving License (License No. 3).
• Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience, preferably in a corporate or logistics environment.
• Excellent knowledge of UAE routes, including use of GPS navigation.
• A clean driving record is essential.
• Professional appearance and strong customer service skills.
• Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.
• Good communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
