Job Title:

Light & Heavy Vehicle Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our team with a

valid License 3, 5, and 6

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy vehicles (e.g., trucks, buses, or construction vehicles) to transport goods and materials to various locations safely and efficiently. The driver will ensure the vehicle is maintained, follow all road safety laws, and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate heavy vehicles (e.g., trucks, trailers, or construction vehicles) as required by the company. Transport goods and materials to designated locations within scheduled timeframes. Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is properly secured. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle. Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery logs, vehicle maintenance records, and inspection forms. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and supervisors regarding routes, delivery schedules, and any issues encountered on the road. Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents to the appropriate authorities and supervisors immediately. Ensure safe and efficient driving, adhering to all road safety rules. Assist in loading/unloading goods at various sites when required.

Skills & Qualifications:

Valid heavy vehicle driver's license (specific to vehicle type). Proven experience as a heavy vehicle driver. Good knowledge of traffic laws and road safety regulations. Ability to operate vehicles in various weather conditions and road environments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good physical condition and stamina to manage the demands of the job. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Familiarity with GPS and other routing software.

Preferred Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in the logistics or transportation industry. Additional certifications in vehicle operation and safety
