minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the UAE Oil & Gas industry
. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and executing lifting operations safely and in compliance with UAE regulations, company procedures, and international lifting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all lifting operations at site in accordance with the approved lifting plans.
Ensure all lifting equipment and accessories are inspected, certified, and in safe working condition.
Conduct daily toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings with riggers and crane operators.
Verify that all lifting crew members are trained, competent, and certified.
Liaise with site engineers, project managers, and HSE teams to ensure safe lifting practices.
Monitor high-risk or critical lifts and take corrective actions where necessary.
Maintain accurate documentation, including lift plans, checklists, and incident reports.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the UAE Oil & Gas industry.
Valid
Lifting Supervisor certification
Sound knowledge of
rigging practices
,
crane operations
, and
lifting safety standards
Proven experience with
critical lifts
and
heavy rigging operations
.
Familiar with
Permit to Work (PTW)
systems and safety documentation.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Physically fit and able to work in harsh site environments (onshore/offshore).
UAE Driving License is an advantage.
