Job Title: Lifting Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

Lifting Operations Oversight:

Supervise all lifting activities on-site, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with UAE regulations and international standards.

Safety & Risk Management:

Conduct pre-lift risk assessments, implement control measures, and ensure adherence to health and safety protocols.

Equipment Monitoring:

Inspect and maintain lifting equipment (cranes, hoists, rigging gear) to ensure operational readiness and safety.

Team Leadership:

Manage riggers, banksmen, and crane operators. Provide training, safety briefings, and clear operational guidance.

Lift Planning:

Prepare and review detailed lift plans, including load calculations, rigging configurations, and equipment capacity checks.

Coordination & Communication:

Liaise with site managers, engineers, and subcontractors to align lifting operations with overall project timelines.

Incident Management:

Document and investigate lifting incidents or near misses. Develop corrective actions and update safety protocols.

Documentation & Compliance:

Maintain accurate records of certifications, permits, inspection logs, and lifting plans as per regulatory requirements.

Reporting:

Provide regular updates to the project manager on lifting activities, risks, and improvement strategies.
Requirements

Certification in Lifting Operations (e.g., Lifting Supervisor Course, Crane Safety) Minimum 5 years of experience in lifting supervision, preferably on high-rise projects Strong knowledge of cranes, hoisting equipment, rigging, and lifting techniques Familiarity with UAE safety regulations and compliance standards Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills Ability to interpret technical documents and lift plans Valid UAE driver's license (preferred)
