Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and Supervise Lifting Operations:
Prepare lifting plans in coordination with the appointed person/engineer. Ensure all lifting activities are carried out safely and as per the method statement and risk assessment.On-site Coordination:
Brief crane operators, riggers, and signalmen before any lifting operation. Supervise critical lifts, heavy lifts, and tandem lifts. Confirm ground conditions are suitable for crane setup.Equipment Inspection:
Check lifting gear (slings, shackles, chains) and cranes before use. Ensure all lifting equipment has valid certifications and inspections.Permit Management:
Ensure properPermit to Work (PTW)
is issued for all lifting activities. Confirm that lifting operations are conducted within the boundaries of the permit.Safety Compliance:
Enforce adherence to site HSE policies and UAE legal standards (like DM regulations, ADNOC codes, OSHAD-SF). Stop unsafe acts immediately and report incidents.Training and Leadership:
Guide rigging crews and operators on correct procedures. Conduct toolbox talks specific to lifting activities.Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain records of all lifts, equipment inspections, and crew competencies. Prepare reports in case of lifting incidents or near-misses.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
Education:
Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
Lifting Supervisor: 2 years (Required) * UAE: 2 years (Required)
