Job Description

We are looking for a lifting Supervisor

Before the lift:

Planning:

Develop and review lifting plans, risk assessments, and method statements for the proposed lift.

Site & Equipment Checks:

Conduct a site survey to identify hazards, check ground conditions, and verify access/egress routes. Inspect the crane, lifting accessories, and any provided machinery to ensure they match the lift plan and are in safe, working order.

Team Briefing:

Brief the entire lifting team--including crane operators, riggers, and signalmen--on the lift plan, procedures, potential hazards, and safety requirements.

Personnel Verification:

Confirm that only qualified and certified personnel are involved in the lifting operation.

Barricading:

Ensure appropriate exclusion zones and barricades are established around the lifting area to prevent unauthorized access.
During the lift:

Supervision:

Be present and actively supervise all lifting operations, guiding the team and the crane operator as needed.

Load & Rigging Checks:

Verify that the load is correctly and safely rigged before and during the lift.

Environmental Monitoring:

Monitor environmental factors like wind speed and adjust the lift plan as necessary.

Unsafe Conditions:

Take immediate action to rectify any reported unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions, ceasing the operation if necessary.
After the lift:

Debriefing:

Conduct a debrief with the team to identify any issues or improvements that could be made for future operations.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of lifting activities, equipment inspections, and other relevant documentation.

Site Sweep:

Perform a final site sweep to ensure the area is left safe and tidy.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

License/Certification:

* Driving License (Preferred)
