to oversee all lifting operations on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational standards. The ideal candidate must possess strong practical experience in heavy lifting operations and hold a valid

LEELA Certificate

as per statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate all lifting activities on-site, ensuring that operations are carried out safely and efficiently. Ensure all lifting plans are reviewed, approved, and communicated to the team. Conduct pre-lift meetings and toolbox talks to address safety measures and task-specific risks. Verify the certification and condition of lifting equipment and accessories. Ensure lifting operations are performed in accordance with relevant standards (e.g., LOLER, BS 7121, or local equivalents). Monitor the performance of riggers, crane operators, and other lifting personnel. Intervene in any unsafe practices or non-compliance during lifting activities. Maintain accurate lifting records and incident reports if required. Liaise with project engineers, HSE officers, and clients to coordinate lifts. Support and enforce the site's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.

Requirements:

Minimum 1-3 years

of hands-on experience in supervising lifting operations in construction, oil & gas, or industrial projects. Valid and current

LEELA Certificate

(Lifting Equipment Engineers' and Lift Association, or applicable local equivalent). Familiarity with lifting equipment, rigging practices, and crane operations. In-depth knowledge of applicable lifting regulations and standards. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to work under pressure and in high-risk environments.
