We are currently seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused

Lifting Supervisor

to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a

minimum of 5 years' experience

in lifting operations within the

construction industry

, and must hold valid certifications from

LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association)

and

TUV SUD

.

This role is critical for ensuring all lifting activities are carried out in accordance with local regulations, safety standards, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise all lifting and rigging activities on-site. Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings related to lifting operations. Review and approve lifting plans in coordination with the site management and engineering teams. Ensure all lifting equipment is properly inspected, certified, and used according to specifications. Monitor crane operations and ensure compliance with safe lifting procedures. Coordinate with riggers, crane operators, and site supervisors to ensure safety and efficiency. Identify and mitigate risks during complex or heavy lifts. Maintain documentation and reports related to lifting operations and incidents.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience

in lifting supervision or rigging operations.

LEEA Certified

(mandatory).

TUV SUD Lifting Supervisor Certification

(mandatory). Strong knowledge of lifting plans, equipment, and international safety standards. Familiar with risk assessments and method statements related to lifting operations. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced construction or industrial environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in major infrastructure, oil & gas, or industrial projects. Knowledge of local lifting regulations and standards (e.g. LOLER, OSHA, etc.). Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, report writing).
