Job Description
The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of all guests in and around swimming pools, beaches, or other water facilities. This role involves monitoring activities, preventing accidents, responding to emergencies, and enforcing safety rules. The Lifeguard plays a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all visitors.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Safety Monitoring
Continuously observe swimming areas to identify potential hazards or unsafe behavior. Ensure that guests follow all safety rules and regulations.Emergency Response
Perform water rescues for distressed or struggling swimmers. Administer first aid, CPR, or other emergency care when necessary. Alert medical personnel or emergency services in serious situations.Equipment & Facility Checks
Inspect lifeguard and safety equipment regularly (rescue tubes, first aid kits, flotation devices). Ensure the swimming area and surroundings are clean and safe for use.Reporting & Documentation
Record any incidents, accidents, or rule violations accurately. Report safety concerns or maintenance needs to supervisors promptly.Training & Drills
Participate in regular safety drills and training sessions. Stay updated on emergency response techniques and water safety standards.Support Operations
Assist with general pool or beach operations as needed. Educate visitors about safety practices and proper use of facilities.Skills & Competencies:
Strong swimming ability and physical fitness Alertness, quick reaction, and decision-making skills Certification in Lifeguard Training, First Aid, and CPR Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to remain calm under pressure

Pay: From AED1,500.00 per month
