Lifeguard
Job Summary:
The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of all guests using the hotel's swimming pool and surrounding area. This role requires constant vigilance and the ability to respond quickly in emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise swimmers and monitor the pool area to prevent accidents.
- Enforce all pool safety rules and regulations consistently.
- Perform rescues and administer first aid or CPR as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the pool area (e.g., removing hazards, arranging furniture).
- Conduct regular checks of water chemical levels and pool equipment, reporting any issues.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist guests when needed.
- Valid lifeguard certification from a recognized body (e.g., Red Cross).
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong swimming skills and physical fitness.
- Alert, observant, and proactive in identifying potential hazards.
- Responsible and reliable with a calm demeanor under pressure.
