Job Description
Responsibilities
Surveillance:
Maintain constant vigilance to monitor swimmers and the surrounding environment.Accident Prevention:
Proactively identify and mitigate potential hazards to ensure guest safety.Emergency Response:
Respond swiftly and appropriately to all incidents, including drowning victims and other emergencies.Water Rescue:
Execute water rescue techniques to safely retrieve individuals in distress.First Aid & CPR:
Administer immediate medical care during emergencies using First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).Facility Maintenance:
Conduct pre-opening and post-closing checks of swimming areas and equipment.Customer Service:
Offer assistance and support to guests and swimmers.Q
ualifications & Training
English Language:
Ability to read and speak basic English.Swimming Skills:
For a beach lifeguard, swim 200 meters non-stop in open water and recover a 4kg weight from a depth of 5 meters. For a pool lifeguard, swim 100 meters non-stop in deep water and recover a 4kg weight from a depth of at least 1.5 meters.Treading Water:
Be able to tread water for a specified duration (e.g., 5 or 10 minutes, depending on qualification).Certifications:
Successfully complete a recognized lifeguard certification course approved by the Dubai Regulators for Lifeguarding. Hold a First Aid certificate approved by the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS).Physical Fitness:
Be in good physical condition to handle the demands of the job.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,800.00 per month
