Job Title:

Lifeguard

Job Summary:

The Lifeguard will ensure the safety and well-being of all pool users by enforcing safety rules, responding to emergencies, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in and around the swimming pool area.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor swimming pool activities and ensure the safety of all swimmers and users. Respond promptly and effectively to all emergencies, administering first aid or CPR when necessary. Enforce all pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents and maintain order. Conduct daily safety inspections of the pool, surrounding area, and equipment, and report any hazards or maintenance requirements. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the pool and surrounding deck area in coordination with housekeeping and maintenance teams. Provide excellent customer service and assist guests with inquiries or concerns. Participate in regular safety drills and training sessions. Maintain accurate incident and activity reports as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Valid Lifeguard Certification from a recognized authority. Current First Aid and CPR Certification. Minimum 2 - 3 years of lifeguarding experience, preferably in a hospitality or facilities management setting. Physically fit and able to swim strongly and perform rescues. Strong observational skills and ability to stay focused for extended periods. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of water quality and chemical safety procedures. Previous experience in UAE or GCC preferred.

Working Conditions:

Outdoor work environment with exposure to sun and heat. Rotational shifts including weekends and public holidays.
