With stunning resorts located across the globe and exciting expansion planned, Kerzner International currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Lifeguard to join the One&Only team at The One&Only The Palm Hotel in Dubai.

With the global growth of our brands, you will be an integral part of the Resort\'s success and your role goes beyond developing potential relationships where you will be responsible for the overall water safety of every Guests. Therefore, you must enforce safety rules and use of preventative lifeguarding techniques to maintain a safe environment within the pool & beach area.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

\xef\x82\xa7 Attend to the needs of resort guests.
\xef\x82\xa7 Assigned to a zone of protection, ensure guest safety and enforce safety rules.
\xef\x82\xa7 Provide instructions to swimmers.
\xef\x82\xa7 Hose down after the operating day.
\xef\x82\xa7 Contribute to resort clean up, including trash pickup, pressure washing, etc.
\xef\x82\xa7 Perform job function within all the resort policies, standards and procedures.
\xef\x82\xa7 Stand for long periods of time and perform activities that require flexibility.
\xef\x82\xa7 Tolerate cold and hot weather, plus cold water.
\xef\x82\xa7 Lift heavy people on a backboard and physical exertion to perform rescues.
\xef\x82\xa7 Carry heavy objects such as hoses, tables, and signs.
\xef\x82\xa7 Perform any and all tasks as assigned by your supervisors necessary for the operation.
\xef\x82\xa7 Other assigned duties necessitated by operational demand.

Suitable candidate will be reporting directly to the Assistant Pool & Beach Manager. He must be highly qualified and must have at least 1-2 years\' experience in an upscale luxury hospitality industry or five-star hotels. He must have strong attention to details, flexibility and must be able to work under pressure. Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English is a must and/or another language. Middle East/GCC experience is an advantage.
