About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced

Lifeguard

to ensure the safety and well-being of guests at our swimming facilities. The ideal candidate will hold an internationally attested lifeguard training certificate, demonstrate strong swimming and rescue skills, and have a proven background in resorts, hotels, clubs, or institutions.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor pool areas to ensure guest safety and enforce swimming pool regulations. Advise swimmers on safe use of pool facilities and report any violations. Maintain poolside safety equipment in proper working condition. Administer first aid, CPR, and lifesaving assistance in emergencies. Maintain cleanliness of pool surroundings and ensure good housekeeping. Report and follow up on maintenance or repair requirements. Assist in organizing swimming galas, pool events, and conduct swimming lessons when required. Keep accurate records of pool maintenance and coordinate with contractors for follow-up. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Certifications

Internationally attested lifeguard training certificate (valid for max. 2 years) covering: Lifeguard responsibilities, First Aid, CPR, rescue techniques, swimming competency, and training hours. On arrival in Qatar, candidates must complete a

Qatar Certified Basic Life Support (BLS)

course with Hamad International Training Centre (renewed every 2 years).

Experience

Minimum

5 years of experience

as a lifeguard in a reputed resort, hotel, club, or institution.

Skills & Competencies

Strong swimming, observation, and rescue skills. Knowledge of water safety, accident prevention, and pool procedures. Ability to handle emergencies calmly and professionally. Teamwork, communication, and guest service skills.
