Summary
Duties and responsibilities related to the
Lifeguard role:
Maintain constant, uninterrupted surveillance of guests in and around the pool areas to prevent accidents Enforce all safety rules and regulations of the pool and recreational areas in a polite yet firm manner Identify and report any potential safety hazards to the management, such as broken tiles, faulty equipment, or unsafe guest behavior Monitor water conditions, including chemical levels and clarity, and report any issues to the appropriate department Administer first aid, CPR, and use an AED in accordance with professional training and certification standards Proactively assist guests with their needs, such as providing towels, adjusting umbrellas, offering water, and answering questions about the hotel facilities Conduct daily opening and closing procedures for the pool area, ensuring everything is safe, clean, and ready for guests Qualifications
Holder of an international lifeguard certification (gold) * Minimum of 2 years work experience as fitness instructor or consultant
