Palma Beach Resort & SPA is URGENTLY looking for LIFEGUARD WITH SWIMMING LICENSE who can join IMMEDIATELY. Qualifications:
- With Pool Lifeguard License & Certificates.
- Awareness of health and safety procedures.
- Alertness and a sense of responsibility.
- Ability to remain calm and act appropriately in an emergency.
- Ensure adequate number of safety equipment for persons using the swimming pool will be provided
- Ensure resuscitation equipment using ordinary air will be provided to all commercial and public pools. Trained and qualified lifeguard will be deployed and knowledgeable of using resuscitation equipment and techniques for life saving.
- Provide First aid boxes with medicines.
- Ensure life ring and lift are adjacent to pools always.
- Responsible to ensure that swimming pool maintenance company carry out the maintenance of the swimming pool & the filtration and disinfectant system.
- Ensure daily provision for water quality for taking samples to check chlorine, pH and temperature levels. These should be registered in the logbook. Samples should be taken for checking calcium hardness, alkalinity and cyanuric acid and record for future use.
- Ensure that the deck is cleaned every hour by the cleaning crew. Any misuse will be reported to Housekeeping management .
- Assurance of swimming pool secures and locked (where feasible) when not in use.
