Job Description
Responsible for safety of guest while swimming and providing services to the guest of Radisson Blu Hotel & Resort Abu Dhabi. To keep in order and cleanliness of the Swimming pools/deck areas, beach area, recreation facilities and equipment\'s used accordance with established procedure and standards of the Radisson Hotel Group.
- At the beginning of the shift, checks/inspects the recreation areas were assigned and ensures safety of the area and equipment\'s are clean, orderly and working.
- Be vigilant and attentive with maximum safety measures of the swimmers swimming in the pool and beach areas.
- Perform lifeguard duties, prioritizing life and safety of the guest especially children who are staying in the pool and beach without adult\xe2\x80\x99s supervision.
- Provide basic First Aid in the event of any minor accidents.
- To be fully aware of the procedure in the event of a major accidents and emergency.
- Briefs the guest on whatever safety instructions needed prior to performance of any activities.
- Observes guest using facilities in recreation areas and immediately offers assistance as may be required.
- Cleans and assists in maintaining the recreation equipment\'s before and after use.
- Relieves other attendants, recreation team members when necessary.
- Responds to emergency calls as may be required.
- To be available in front of the guest at all times.
- Interacts with other departments to provide additional or specialized guest services.
- Maintains good relation with guest in keeping them happy and comfortable in your outlet.
- Respond to the guest inquiries on the sports, recreation facilities and service, making sure that the information given to the guest is complete, accurate and timely.
- Maintains clean surroundings all time \xe2\x80\x93 Beach, Pool Deck, Swimming pool.
- Attends all guest complaints immediately and initiate immediate resolution.
- Notes down all reservations and appointments, ensuring needed information requested from the guest properly.
- Adheres to specified hygiene and personal appearance standards of the hotel.
- Attends scheduled training courses, communication meetings and daily briefings.
- Attends scheduled employee training and periodic reviews on departmental responsibilities in the case of emergencies.
- Reports any incidents occurring during the daily operation to the Senior Lifeguards, Senior Recreation Supervisor or Recreation Manager.
- Immediately reports and turn over the lost and found items in Security office and follows required procedures at all times.
- Ensures timely reporting malfunction or maintenance deficiencies and appropriate area to Senior Lifeguards, Senior Recreation Supervisor or Recreation Manager.
- Cooperates and coordinates with colleagues whenever is necessary.
- Maintains cordial relationship with team members contributing good team spirit.
- Lifeguard certification (Required)
- Abu Dhabi: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
