Bluetech Marine Services LLC is currently looking for an experienced and skilled Lifeboat Technician to join our team in Ajman. The ideal candidate must be well-versed in the maintenance and inspection of lifeboats, rescue boats, and launching appliances, and should be capable of performing both annual and five-yearly services in compliance with international safety regulations and manufacturer standards.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Perform annual and five-yearly services for various types of lifeboats, rescue boats, and launching appliances as per IMO/SOLAS standards. Conduct load tests, release mechanism checks, and assess structural integrity of lifeboat systems. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults in lifeboat and davit systems. Maintain and calibrate tools, testing equipment, and safety gear in accordance with company and industry standards. Develop and execute safety plans and ensure job certifications are aligned with class and statutory requirements. Prepare detailed service reports, checklists, and client documentation. Work in both onshore and offshore environments with strict adherence to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
REQUIRED SKILLS

2-3 years of direct experience working on lifeboats and launching appliances. Familiarity with servicing lifeboats from OEMs such as Norsafe, Fassmer, Schat-Harding, and others. Solid understanding of IMO, SOLAS, and classification society regulations. Strong knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and safety procedures. Excellent troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety. Capable of working independently and as part of a technical team in diverse work environments.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
