Key responsibilities of a Level 3 IT Admin may include:
Managing, maintaining and troubleshooting servers, storage, and virtualization infrastructure
Managing and resolving escalated technical issues from Level 1 and Level 2 support teams
Identifying and resolving IT system performance issues, and recommending solutions to improve system performance
Providing support for the implementation of new technologies and system upgrades
Participating in the development and implementation of IT security policies and procedures
Collaborating with other IT teams to resolve cross-functional technical issues
Participating in IT projects and initiatives as needed
Documenting and maintaining IT systems diagrams, procedures, and inventory
Keeping up-to-date with new technologies and industry developments to ensure the best possible support
On-call support rotation
An ideal candidate for this role would have:
Strong communication and customer service skills
5+ years of experience in IT systems administration and support
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience with Windows and/or Linux servers, and virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
Knowledge of storage technologies such as SAN, NAS, and backup solutions.
Knowledge of IT security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
Familiarity with monitoring and management tools
Experience with Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
MCSE, MCSA, VCP or any other relevant certifications are a plus
This role may require the ability to work in shifts and be available to support the IT infrastructure outside of regular business hours. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Experience:
