Level 3 It Admin Remote

Job Description
Key responsibilities of a Level 3 IT Admin may include:
- Managing, maintaining and troubleshooting servers, storage, and virtualization infrastructure
- Managing and resolving escalated technical issues from Level 1 and Level 2 support teams
- Identifying and resolving IT system performance issues, and recommending solutions to improve system performance
- Providing support for the implementation of new technologies and system upgrades
- Participating in the development and implementation of IT security policies and procedures
- Collaborating with other IT teams to resolve cross-functional technical issues
- Participating in IT projects and initiatives as needed
- Documenting and maintaining IT systems diagrams, procedures, and inventory
- Keeping up-to-date with new technologies and industry developments to ensure the best possible support
- On-call support rotation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- 5+ years of experience in IT systems administration and support
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux servers, and virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Knowledge of storage technologies such as SAN, NAS, and backup solutions.
- Knowledge of IT security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Familiarity with monitoring and management tools
- Experience with Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- MCSE, MCSA, VCP or any other relevant certifications are a plus
- IT systems administration and support: 5 years (Preferred)
