SUMMARY:

The Legal Manager will oversee and manage all legal affairs of the Group and its subsidiary companies across various jurisdictions. The role ensures legal compliance, minimizes risk exposure, supports corporate governance, and advises management on legal implications of strategic decisions. The Legal Manager will also coordinate with external legal counsel and lead internal legal operations, including contract management, litigation, regulatory compliance, and corporate legal matters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide legal counsel and support to the Group's management on all legal matters related to operations, including labor, commercial, intellectual property, and environmental law. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements, including those related to commercial transactions, corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, construction, insurance, and employment. Prepare and review legal correspondence relating to disputes across all business areas. Gather, verify, and audit all required documentation and data related to ongoing, potential, or anticipated legal and commercial disputes for management reporting. Advise on general business matters and manage legal issues across the Group's diverse operations. Provide accurate and timely legal advice to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Develop, implement, and update legal policies and procedures for the Group in accordance with applicable laws. Standardize recurring contract templates and legal documentation across the Group's various divisions. Monitor emerging legal trends, and report material legislative and regulatory developments that may affect the Group. Anticipate and manage legal risks associated with the Group's strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations. Collaborate with the Compliance Department to ensure full adherence of business operations to applicable laws and regulations. Work in coordination with the HR Department on internal investigations, disciplinary actions, employment matters, and the development of group-wide legal policies and SOPs. Partner with the Audit Department to address legal issues arising from policy breaches and operational non-compliance identified in audits. Communicate and negotiate with external parties, including regulators, law firms, and government authorities, while establishing relationships built on trust and transparency. Oversee and manage legal cases and litigation matters in coordination with appointed external legal counsel. Represent the Legal Department in cross-functional meetings and act as liaison between the legal function and executive leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Law from a recognized university; Master's Degree (LLM) is an advantage. Licensed to practice law in Egypt & UAE. Minimum of 4-7 years of legal advisory experience, with solid exposure to Egyptian corporate and commercial law. In-depth knowledge of Egyptian and UAE legal frameworks, including labor, commercial, customs, intellectual property, free zone regulations, and environmental laws. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across departments and jurisdictions. Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills, with strong attention to legal detail. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, multi-company environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach.
