Job Title: Legal Manager (Real Estate Developer)
Job Purpose:
The Legal Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all legal aspects of the real estate development business of the company. This includes drafting and reviewing legal documents, advising on legal matters related to land acquisition, development, construction, and leasing, managing litigation and disputes, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and review legal documents: The Legal Manager will be responsible for drafting and reviewing various legal documents related to the company's real estate development business, including land purchase agreements, construction contracts, leasing agreements, and other legal agreements.
Advise on legal matters: The Legal Manager will provide legal advice to the company on matters related to land acquisition, development, construction, and leasing. They will ensure that the company is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Manage litigation and disputes: The Legal Manager will manage all legal disputes related to the company's real estate development business. This includes working with external legal counsel, representing the company in court, and negotiating settlements.
Ensure compliance: The Legal Manager will ensure that the company is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to real estate development. They will keep up to date with changes in the law and advise the company accordingly.
Manage legal team: The Legal Manager will manage a team of legal professionals who support the company's real estate development business. They will provide guidance, training, and mentorship to the team members.
Qualifications and Experience:
A bachelor's degree in law (LLB) is required. A master's degree in law (LLM) is preferred.
A minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in a legal role, with at least 3 years in the real estate development industry.
