Stryde is the first regulated digital platform redefining access to sports, media, and entertainment by allowing individuals and institutions to seamlessly invest in one of the most exciting asset classes. As we scale across multiple jurisdictions and expand our product offering, we're hiring a Legal Director to own the execution layer across structures, deals, partnerships, and compliance.
You'll be responsible for the legal backbone of our operations -- from fund vehicles to campaign terms, from local licensing to investor documentation. This is a unique opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer to work at the frontier of finance, sports, and technology..
Key Responsibilities

• Deal Execution: Own the end-to-end legal execution of investment deals, including due diligence, structuring SPVs, reviewing term sheets, and coordinating with external counsel;
• Fund & Product Structuring: Work closely with the investment and operations team to design investor-friendly yet compliant product wrappers across multiple region;
• Documentation & Contracts: Draft, review, and negotiate key agreements -- including investor docs, issuer contracts, platform Ts&Cs, and partnership frameworks;
• Multi-Jurisdictional Compliance: Oversee legal alignment across UAE, KSA, EU, UK and US frameworks;
• Regulatory Affairs: Act as liaison with regulatory bodies (e.g., DFSA, CMA) on licensing, reporting, and compliance topics
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks related to platform activity, marketing, disclosures, and financial promotions

Requirements

• 7+ years of legal experience in corporate law, private equity, venture capital, technology;
• Preference for previous experience with a regulated fintech;
• Strong understanding of cross-border legal frameworks and regulatory nuance;
• Sharp, commercial thinker with a builder's mindset;
• Highly entrepreneurial and able to think outside the box as this is not a corporate job;
• Tech savvy with a strong knack for product;
• Deep curiosity and passion for sports and entertainment is a must.
