Legal Counsel, Hotels, Arabic and French We have a global relationship with this hospitality client, who are seeking to expand their legal team with a new Legal Counsel. Consequently, they have retained us to help them with this critical hire. ROLE: Spanning the whole of Middle East Africa (one of their busiest and most active geographies) you will advise on a wide array of areas, covering development, products and branding, across full service, luxury and franchise properties. This is a very busy department and work may expand to wider EMEA functions at times. Some examples of the things you\xe2\x80\x99ll work on are listed below:
  • Drafting and negotiating franchise and managed agreements.
  • General commercial, corporate and transactional support on deals.
  • Real estate development, JV\xe2\x80\x99s, M&A, risk, employment and tax.
There are guideline criteria for the role, and please take the time to read and assess your suitability carefully
  • A guideline PQE range will be 3-6 years of experience.
  • You will likely have trained and qualified with a recognised international standard law firm, or corporate.
  • Ideal candidates will have a strong background in corporate and commercial work, or real estate, covering the hospitality industry.
  • Specific in-house hotels work will be highly valued and perceived as an ideal fit, however, exposure to international companies may also suit.
  • French and Arabic language skills are essential for the role.
  • Ideal candidates will be based in the Middle East already, but overseas candidates can also be considered.
