A Bachelor's Degree in Law is required
A Master's Degree in Law is preferable.
A minimum of 7 years of related work experience
Thorough knowledge of the laws of the UAE
Thorough knowledge of judicial procedures and rules.
Thorough knowledge of court and legal procedures.
Ability to provide guidance and advice on legal/policy and legislative issues, and the ability to negotiate through collaboration
Ability to prepare legal pleadings, briefs, and memoranda
Ability to perform legal research
Ability to render effective decisions and deal tactfully with the courts, law enforcement officials, various ministries, and the public
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, recommend and implement solutions in a timely fashion
A high degree of computer literacy and demonstrated ability to integrate technology into the work environment
Current knowledge of practices, trends, and issues in the UAE
Superior interpersonal skills as demonstrated by the ability to form professional relationships at all levels within the organization and with appropriate external stakeholders
Highly developed organizational, communication, and presentation skills
Strong management or leadership skills as exhibited by experience in effectively leading a team and/or chairing committees
