Role Overview: As a Legal Consultant at PowerPlay 360, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert legal guidance and support in contract matters while also contributing to the growth of our business through strategic business development efforts. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure legal compliance, mitigate risks, and seize opportunities for expansion. Responsibilities:
- Review, draft and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including but not limited to vendor agreements, client contracts, licensing agreements, and more.
- Provide legal counsel to internal stakeholders on various legal issues related to contracts, regulatory compliance, and business operations.
- Assess potential legal risks and advise on appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between legal requirements and business objectives.
- Proactively identify opportunities for business growth and development, participating in strategic planning and execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and external legal counsel.
- Stay updated on relevant industry trends, legal developments, and best practices to ensure the company\'s practices remain current and compliant.
- Deal with internal and external issues around new client complaints.
- Assist the relevant management in resourcing, budgeting, and problem-solving activities of the company.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Law from an accredited university
- Master\'s degree in Law is highly preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a practicing lawyer, with a focus on commercial and corporate law
- Must be a member of the Dubai legal community
- Fluent in both Arabic and English
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Experience in managing a team of legal professionals is a plus
