Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Legal Advisory & Documentation
Draft and review contracts, MoUs, NDAs, partnership agreements, service terms, and internal policies Advise on UAE commercial law, labor law, and company formation (mainland & free zone) Provide legal oversight on smart contracts, tokenomics, and exchange listings Manage IP filings, terms of use, disclaimers, and investor documents
Global Regulatory Compliance
Ensure multi-jurisdictional compliance for:
Crypto laws & exchange licenses (e.g., VARA, SEC, FCA, MAS, CySEC)
Forex brokerage regulation (e.g., DFSA, ASIC, NFA, IFSC, FSA Seychelles, etc.)
AML/KYC
, anti-terrorism financing, anddata protection standards
(e.g., GDPR, DIFC) Conduct regular regulatory audits and gap assessments Monitor token sales (ICO/IDO), cross-border remittance, and investor onboarding lawsGovernment & Regulatory Liaison
Communicate with UAE bodies: VARA, DFSA, DED, MOHRE Liaise with legal advisors and licensing agents in global jurisdictions (e.g., Panama, BVI, Mauritius, Bangladesh, India, etc.) Keep management updated on changes in law, sanctions, or global policy shifts
Required Qualifications:
LLB (mandatory); LLM or compliance certifications (preferred)
3-5 years legal experience, with minimum2-3 years in fintech, blockchain, or forex sector
Proven track record withcrypto or forex licensing
, exchange operations, and investor documents Strong command ofUAE labor, commercial, and DIFC law
Fluent in English (written and verbal); other language(s) a plus Comfortable working independently with global partners and regulatorsPreferred Experience:
Direct dealings with regulators like
VARA

Experience withlaunchpads, token sales
, staking, and Web3 platforms Legal advisory inwhitepapers, prospectus documentation
