As a Legal Assistant at The First Group, you will be an integral part of our legal team, providing crucial support to attorneys and helping ensure the smooth operation of the firm. Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including:

Responsibilities:

Document Management: Organize and maintain legal documents, contracts, pleadings, and client files, ensuring proper indexing and secure storage.

Legal Research: Conduct in-depth legal research using databases, libraries, and online resources to assist attorneys in case preparation and strategy development.

Client Interaction: Serve as the first point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings or consultations.

Drafting and Editing: Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and forms, and review them for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with legal standards.

Case Support: Assist in the preparation of cases, including gathering and organizing evidence, exhibits, and witness lists for hearings, trials, and depositions.

Calendar Management: Manage attorney calendars, schedule court dates, deadlines, and meetings, ensuring efficient time utilization.

Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties, including filing, data entry, photocopying, and maintaining office supplies.

Billing and Invoicing: Assist in tracking billable hours, preparing client invoices, and managing accounts receivable.

Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive client information and internal firm matters. Desired Skill & Expertise:

Qualifications:
  • A bachelor\'s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Prior experience in a legal environment is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • UAE National with Family Book.
