Job Summary:



The Legal Advisor will provide expert legal counsel and support in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various contractual documents, including commercial agreements, Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs). The role requires a deep understanding of contract law principles under Common Law, with the ability to identify and mitigate legal risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and safeguard the organization's interests in all contractual matters.

Key Responsibilities:



Contract Drafting and Review:

Draft, review, and revise a wide range of contracts including service agreements, consultancy agreements, supplier and client contracts, NDAs, and MoUs. Ensure that all contracts comply with legal requirements and company policies. Identify and mitigate potential legal and business risks in contractual terms.

Negotiation and Advisory:

Provide legal advice during contract negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes for the organization. Liaise with external legal counsel when necessary to resolve complex legal issues. Advise management and business units on contractual rights, obligations, and liabilities.

Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure all contracts align with applicable laws and regulations under Common Law and local jurisdictions. Monitor changes in legislation and advise on implications for ongoing and future contracts. Implement best practices for contract management, storage, and version control.

Policy and Documentation:

Contribute to the development of internal templates, policies, and standard operating procedures for contract management. Maintain accurate records of all contractual documents and correspondence.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with finance, procurement, operations, and business development teams to align contractual terms with organizational goals. Support internal stakeholders in understanding contractual obligations and compliance measures.

Qualifications and Experience:



Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university; a Master's degree (LLM) is an advantage. Licensed to practice law in a Common Law jurisdiction preferred. Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in contract law, corporate law, or commercial legal advisory. Proven experience in reviewing and negotiating complex commercial agreements, NDAs, and MoUs. Strong understanding of Common Law principles and international contracting standards.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
