Job Description

1. Teaching service courses offered by Mathematics Program.
2. Engage in teaching activities such as tutorial.
3. Teaching students how to use mathematical packages including MATLAB
4. Contribute to various committees and activities at the Department, College, and University levels.
5. Other responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Department.
Qualifications
1. PhD degree in the

field of Mathematics or Actuarial Science

from a reputable and top ranked institution. CGPA must be at least 3.5 out of 4 (if applicable).
2.

Master's degree in Mathematics or Actuarial Science

from a reputable and top ranked institution. CGPA must be at least 3.5 out of 4.
3. Both the Master's and PhD programs must be undertaken on a full-time basis.
4. Have at least two years of teaching experience at university level after PhD, or at least five years of teaching experience at university level after MSc.
5. Familiar with MATLAB, online homework systems and educational technologies used in higher education sector.
6. Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.

Academic:

1. Cover letter.
2. Current Curriculum Vitae must include the following information:Master's GPA and, if applicable, PhD GPA Years of teaching experience after MSc Years of teaching experience after PhD Major, Specialization/Concentration Number of articles published during the last five years Awards.

3. Teaching, research and service philosophy.
4. Professional Development activities, students' mentoring, and services to university and profession.
5. Four referees' contact information (physical and email addresses as well their telephones contact).
6. Copy of highest earned credential (transcript of highest degree if graduated from an institution where course work was completed. However, if no course work was completed, a copy of certificate letter from the registrar of your highest credential granting institution regarding your highest academic degree).
7. Any additional documentation deemed relevant to the application.
