The Department of Public Health and Epidemiology within the College of Medicine and Health Sciences focuses on a wide array of fields, including social determinants of well-being, health economics, public health systems, infection and chronic disease epidemiology, artificial intelligence use in public health, and precision medicine. The department offers a Ph.D. in Public Health to highly qualified national and international students. The Department of Public Health and Epidemiology invites applications for Lecturer/Senior Lecturer positions in Social and Behavioral Sciences. Qualifications

Candidates should possess an advanced degree (MasteraEUR(TM)s or Doctorate) in a Social Science discipline such as Sociology, Psychology, Health Behavior, or Behavioral Science from an accredited institution, along with a minimum of three years of relevant experience. Preference will be given to applicants with strong educational backgrounds from distinguished institutions with a solid track record in instruction. Experience as a researcher and in supervising postgraduate students is a plus. The successful candidates will teach undergraduate courses in social sciences and actively participate in the Khalifa University academic community. PhD holders may also teach graduate courses, supervise and mentor graduate students, and engage in competitive and impactful research. We are particularly interested in candidates who have:

Demonstrated expertise in Sociology, Psychology, Health Behavior, or Behavioral Science fields. Exhibited a strong record of instruction in Social Sciences.
