KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Retail expertise
Uses significant knowledge within the industry to recommend leasing decisions in the assigned category specialism
Researches and analyses market data within the industry to know a wide range of brands, trends, new concepts and best sellers
Understands the market, competition, local environment, demographics, behaviours, habits and potential consumer demands to recommend plans
Maintains expert knowledge of the retailers, understands their business and develops ongoing business relationships for mutual benefit
Uses retail insights to contribute to overall leasing strategy, plans and actions to achieve Department and company targets
Measures contribution and productivity within the team on a regular basis to maximise financial performance for Oasis malls
Leasing:
Follows company procedures to effectively lease retail space above target rentals
Arranges, negotiates and conclude lease agreements in line with desired tenancy mix and budget
Works with Finance and legal functions to produce the required documentation for leasing
Conducts site visits and works with retailers to maintain compliance to leasing plans, regulations and timeframes for changes
Produces regular reports on leasing status and performance
Completes assigned tasks within given deadlines
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Minimum 5 years' experience in managerial role, preferably in Middle East market
Good overall knowledge of retail industry, and leasing for Retail/F&B
Relevant years' experience working in the specific retail category
Experience and record of success in retail leasing
Experience of analysing data and reports to make retail leasing decisions
Minimum Bachelor's degree from a reputable university
